Welcome to Recovery Road: A Community Built on Service and Support

At Recovery Road, we believe in the transformative power of connection, compassion, and community. As a dedicated Recovery Community Resource Center (RCC), we are committed to upholding the principles of “service above self” and ensuring that “no person should go hungry.” Our mission extends beyond recovery; it’s about fostering a community where everyone has access to the resources they need to thrive.

Feeding Families, Nurturing Hope

Our fully stocked food distribution center is a cornerstone of our service. Each year, we provide essential nourishment to thousands of families and individuals, ensuring that no one in our community faces the burden of hunger. Whether you’re in recovery, supporting a loved one, or simply in need, our doors are open to offer sustenance and hope.

What is a Recovery Community Center (RCC)?

Recovery Community Centers are non-profit hubs designed to support individuals in recovery by providing access to essential resources and networks. At Recovery Road, we create a space where people can build “recovery capital,” empowering them to sustain long-term recovery. Unlike residential facilities, RCCs like ours serve as resource centers where individuals can:

  • Access Recovery Support Services
    • Peer-support meetings
    • Food Distribution
    • Advocacy training
    • Recovery information and resource mobilization
    • Haircut Services
    • Computer Room
    • Workshops
  • Engage in Social and Community Activities
    • Build connections through mutual-help groups
    • Attend educational workshops
    • Participate in family-focused support events
  • Foster Supportive Relationships
    • Strengthen bonds within the recovery community
    • Engage family and community members in the recovery journey

Building Recovery Capital

Recovery capital refers to the internal and external resources that individuals can draw upon to maintain their recovery journey. At Recovery Road, we help individuals strengthen these resources by:

  • Offering a safe, welcoming space for recovery-focused activities
  • Providing tools and training to advocate for their needs and the needs of others
  • Encouraging the development of meaningful, supportive relationships

Join Us in Making a Difference

Whether you’re seeking support, looking to volunteer, or interested in donating, Recovery Road invites you to be part of our mission. Together, we can build a stronger, healthier community where recovery is celebrated, and no one is left behind.

Let’s pave the way to a brighter future, one step at a time.
