Our Mission
Feeding families and individuals including the elderly, recovery Community, homeless, and others with special needs. We have a food pantry to help with hunger needs. The goal is to offer life skill classes and help those in need regularly. People need consistency. Regularly scheduled classes and groups will support domestic violence, veterans’ needs, homeless needs, and much more. Our goal is to help others so that they can help themselves. We offer peer support to people seeking to better their Recovery with a peer that is suited for the needs of making recovery altogether better. Ask Robin to give you more details on “The Purpose of Recovery” (A Non Profit) and she can sign you up with no money exchange.
We focus on making the maximum positive effort for our recovery community. Our goal is to help willing people who want to better themselves and recover from life’s challenges.
Our Team
Our amazing team of regulars and part-time volunteers are committed to helping others. We take our convictions and turn them into action. Think you would be a good fit? Get in touch for more information! We make it a point to always show respect to the amazing people we work with. Without the support of everyone on a daily none of our dreams would be coming true and due to all of them always suiting up and showing up our visions are on track. Let’s do great things together.
OUR SERVICES
Our vision is to be a one-stop-shop for recovery resources. A safe place where anyone at any stage of recovery will have their immediate and long-term needs met by a network of resources.
Our History
Seeing a need for energetic, nonprofit work in this area, we formed our organization to provide sensible solutions. We’ve consistently grown since then, all thanks to the helping hands of this amazing community!
What people are saying about us!
“When we focus on our gratitude, the tide of disappointment goes out and the tide of love rushes in.”
My name is Eric and I first came to recovery Road as a client in Treatment at Woodglen RECOVERY Junction. I knew right away that I belong here in some form or fashion I asked if I could come here upon completion of Woodglen to help give back and also take it advantage of the services. What I found here is indescribable. I found a tribe of amazing people bound together by a common goal of bettering themselves by helping others. As a person who has done nothing but take I have come to believe in the magic that comes from adding value to peoples lives I am forever grateful to Recovery Road and I’m here every day before and after work helping the next person find the solution.
Recovery Road has given me a new purpose in life. To be a small part of something that helps save lives makes each new day that much brighter. Thank you so much for everything you do!
At Recovery Road I attend meetings regularly. I used their beautiful computer room to get my RADT Certification and also my CPR/First Aid Certification. Recovery Road has everything I need and could ever want to benefit my recovery. Much Love to Robin and Team
I have been involved with Recovery Road since it’s inception. It has been one of the most insightful ventures, I have been a part of. Recovery Road has been Paramount in reigniting a fire for my recovery. It has given me the resources to reach out to many people. I have nurtured a passion for helping people during the progression of my recovery and Recovery Road has not only given me the opportunity to share my recovery with those seeking recovery, but to reach out to the homeless sector supplying them with clean clothes, food and hygiene products. During the Christmas season we had a big push on getting presents to those less fortunate. I had the opportunity to hand out toys to children whose parents were probably wondering how they were going to have food and presents to give to there children at Christmas time. Recovery Road gave my girlfriend and I the opportunity to do both.
Hey Robin it’s Vince I wanted to say thank you again for the laptop. And to let you know if it wasn’t for you Recovery Road and the resources you have there the school thing would have never happen for me you doing a wonderful thing and I feel privileged to be able to help out and volunteer when I can thank you again God bless you Recovery Road and everything you do.
